Odd Lot - A purchase or sale of fewer than 100 shares of stock. See
round lot.
Option - A security that gives the owner the right, but not the
obligation, to buy (in the case of a call option) or sell (in the case of a put
option) a specific amount of a security or index, at a specified price during a
specified period of time.
Ordinary Life - A whole life policy where the premiums are paid
throughout the life of the insured. Also known as "straight life".
Over-the-Counter Market - A market for
trading stocks not listed on an exchange. |
